Swisscom Systems will be able to offer innovative telephone-based applications such as auto-attendant, personal dialler, information management and call centre automation to its existing base of 90,000 business customers from January 2004. It will also benefit from the revenue generated by third-party applications deployed by Voxpilot partners in Switzerland. Swisscom Systems is the first outsourcing specialist in Switzerland to offer these services on a hosted basis. Customers simply pay a monthly fee based on usage without having to make up-front investments or pay for deployment and maintenance.
Swisscom Systems and Voxpilot are also joining forces to offer additional VoiceXML products and services such as Voxpilot’s SpeechSuite enterprise platform and consultancy services for the Swiss market.
Voxpilot’s Telecom Solution enables any carrier or hosting company to become a VoiceXML outsourcer by linking them to voxBuilder, Voxpilot’s online development environment. The package includes Voxpilot’s SpeechSuite platform featuring the company’s leading-edge VoiceXML browser and Nuance’s speech recognition technology, management tools and VSP management services.
